To celebrate International Women’s Day & Women’s history month, we would like you to meet Tracy & Michalla Wisdom of Clothes Mentor Ellisville
We invite you to read our families very Human story below and learn why Clothes Mentor Ellisville is so much more to us than just a great place to buy and sell fabulous gently used women's designer fashion.
After losing our son Waylon to a life shattering tragic accident in November 2015, we realized that our world would never be the same again and the only way we could see to move forward was to create a new life for our family, we refer to this as our new reality.
With years of previous experience in the resale retail industry and the Clothes Mentor brand, we decided it was time to open our own store.
While searching for the perfect store location, we came across the old Blockbuster Video store in Ellisville Square that we visited frequently with our children (including Waylon) when they were younger, Friday nights was Pizza & Video night so after letting the children pick a couple of movies we would take them home and enjoy family time making memories, with numerous birthday parties celebrated at the Chuck E Cheese here in the strip mall this had to be where we opened our store.
After a lot of hard work, we opened our doors to the community in May 2018, we continue to honor our son Waylon through this family business and believe he is lovingly looking down on us with those beautiful blue eyes of his, he is the young man whose picture hangs on the wall as you first walk in the store.
From the bottom of our hearts, we want to extend a very big THANK YOU to everyone who has helped and supported us along our journey, as well as all our customers who make it possible for us to open the doors every day.
